Anthony Davis exits Game 4 vs. Suns with groin injury

Lakers star suffered left groin strain late in the second quarter and was replaced in the lineup coming out of halftime.

Due to a knee sprain, Anthony Davis was questionable entering Sunday’s Game 4 vs. the Suns. Due to a groin strain, he exited it.

The Lakers’ star big regrouped from his Game 3 knee injury to start for L.A. as they chased a 3-1 series lead at Staples Center. Davis played 19 minutes, 24 seconds in the first half, but then was replaced by Kyle Kuzma to start the second half. The team revealed the injury shortly after.

The Suns, who opened a double-digit lead in the third, would tie the series with a victory, heading back to Phoenix tied, 2-2.
