Filipino basketball legend Jimmy Alapag is working with the Sacramento Kings organization again.

Alapag currently serves as one of the assistant coaches of the Kings' Summer League team playing in Las Vegas this year. His first Summer League stint with the franchise was in 2019.

Alapag played 13 seasons in the PBA, winning six championships and earning 11 All-Star selections. He became the league's MVP in 2011 and became Finals MVP twice. He spent 12 seasons with the TNT franchise and one with Meralco before retiring from professional basketball in 2016.

After his playing career, he pursued a career on the sidelines. He became a team consultant for the Meralco Bolts before becoming a head coach for Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League in 2017. He was also an assistant coach with the San Miguel Beermen in the PBA in the 2019-20 season.
