NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert was unanimously selected to the All-Defensive First Team, while Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama is the first freshman named to the first five.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert, the 2023-24 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year, has been unanimously selected to the 2023-24 Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team.

Gobert received First Team votes on all 99 ballots from a global panel of sportswriters and broadcasters, earning First Team honors for the seventh time.

Joining Gobert on the 2023-24 Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team are San Antonio Spurs forward-center Victor Wembanyama, Miami Heat center-forward Bam Adebayo, New Orleans Pelicans forward-guard Herb Jones and Los Angeles Lakers forward-center Anthony Davis.

Wembanyama is the first rookie to be selected to the Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team (which has been named annually since the 1968-69 season).

Adebayo has earned First Team honors for the first time after being a Second Team member in each of the previous four seasons.

Jones makes his Kia NBA All-Defensive Team debut.

For Davis, this is his third time on the First Team to go with two Second Team selections.

The 2023-24 Kia NBA All-Defensive Second Team consists of Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso, Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs, Boston Celtics guards Derrick White and Jrue Holiday, and Minnesota forward Jaden McDaniels.

This marks the second Kia NBA All-Defensive Team selection for both Caruso and White and the sixth for Holiday. Suggs and McDaniels are first-time honorees.

The media voting panel selected five players for the Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team and five players for the Kia NBA All-Defensive Second Team at any position. Players received two points for each First Team vote and one point for each Second Team vote.

Here are the rest of the voting results.
