Skylar Diggins silenced the crowd and stole the spotlight.

On a jam-packed WNBA Friday, Diggins delivered a clutch game-winner to lift the Seattle Storm past the Atlanta Dream — the lone road win of the night — as the Indiana Fever, Minnesota Lynx, New York Liberty, and Dallas Wings all protected home courts.

DIGGINS WINS IT FOR STORM, FEVER END RUN OF FUTILITY VS. ACES

  • Seattle Storm (11-7) def. Atlanta Dream (11-7), 80-79: Skylar Diggins delivered the game-winner with 3.4 seconds left, lifting the Storm to a cardiac road escape over Dream.

Nneka Ogwumike and Ezi Magbegor combined for 45 points, but it was Diggins who sealed the deal, spoiling Jordin Canada’s career-high 25-point performance for the Dream.

  • Indiana Fever (9-8) def. Las Vegas Aces (8-9), 81-54: No championship hangover as the Caitlin Clark-less Fever ended a  six-year, 16-game losing skid against the Aces following a 27-point romp.

A day after ruling the Commissioner’s Cup, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell combined for 45 points to hand Las Vegas their second worst loss of the season.

  • New York Liberty (12-5) def. LA Sparks (5-13), 89-79: The defending champion Liberty flaunted their star power, rallying from an 11-point deficit to snap a two-game skid at the Sparks’ expense.

Natasha Cloud poured in 23 points, Sabrina Ionescu added 20, and Breanna Stewart delivered a strong 17-point, 14-rebound double-double as New York improved to 7-1 and 12-5 overall.

  • Minnesota Lynx (15-2) def. Washington Mystics (8-10), 92-75: Behind MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier, the Lynx bounced back in a big way and vented ire on the Mystics following a tough Commissioner’s Cup Finals loss over the Indiana Fever.

Collier erupted for 28 points over the final three quarters after a scoreless first, powering the Lynx to a league-best 15-2 record.

  • Dallas Wings (5-13) def. Phoenix Mercury (12-5), 98-89: The Wings started four rookies and still came away with a crucial home win over the no. 3 Mercury, picking up their fifth victory in the last seven games.

Aziaha James led the charge with 28 points, All-Star starter Paige Bueckers added 23, JJ Quinerly chipped in a career-high 17, and Luisa Geiselsoder, the fourth rookie starter, contributed four.
