Caitlin Clark’s first-ever career triple-double ended with a loss.

This time, Clark made sure the outcome would be different.

Clark tallied 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists for her second career triple-double, as the playoff-bound Indiana Fever denied the Los Angeles Sparks, 93-86. It's their fifth straight win in WNBA action on Thursday, September 5 (PH Time).

Kia Nurse missed a long three-pointer at the other end as Clark grabbed the rebound to complete the triple-double.

“Of course I knew, but honestly, like, we were just trying to get stops,” Clark spoke in the post-game interview.

A day after clinching a playoff spot for the first time since 2016, Clark made history anew in becoming the only rookie in league history with multiple triple-doubles.

Overall, the 22-year-old superstar joins Alyssa Thomas, Courtney Williams, Sabrina Ionescu, and Candace Parker as the only five players in WNBA history to record multiple triple-doubles in a season.

Not only that, the rookie sensation became also the fastest and first player to hit 100 triples in a single season.

She drained her second triple and 100th overall in the third frame before adding two more to finish on a 4/10 shooting clip.

Aliyah Boston also became a major factor thanks to a monster 24-point, 14-rebound outing with Kelsey Mitchell adding 18 markers and NaLyssa Smith pouring 13 points.

It was a tight battle between the both teams as neither led by double-digits throughout the game but the Fever got the job done for a fifth-straight win to continue their chase for the fifth seed.

Indiana (18-16) are currently 1.5 games back of the no. 5 Seattle Storm (20-13) with six regular season games left.

Meanwhile, Odyssey Sims scored 20 points in a losing effort for the Sparks, who dropped their fifth straight game for a 7-26 win-loss record. Dearica Hamby and Rae Burrell scored 16 markers apiece while Azura Stevens recorded a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Up next for Indiana are the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, September 8 (PH Time) while Los Angeles aims to break their skid when they face off against the Chicago Sky.
