Caitlin Clark is just on a different level right now.

Clark dropped a career-high 31 points, on top of 12 assists, in the Indiana Fever’s 100-81 romp of Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky in another one of their highly-anticipated showdown on Saturday, August 31 (PHL time).

In the latest battle between two high-profile from the recent WNBA Draft, Clark got the better of Reese as she put up her best scoring performance in the WNBA yet, helping the Fever buck a slow start to score a dominant win.

The rookie sensation added four rebounds and shot five triples, becoming the first player in league history with 30+points, 12+ assists, and five triples made in a single game.  She also holds a league-leading 11th double-double by a guard this season.

Clark also passed Ticha Penicheiro for the most 10+ assist games by a rookie with nine in another history-filled outing.

The win helped Indiana grab a share of the no. 6 spot in the team standings, sharing the same 16-16 record with the Phoenix Mercury.

Indiana erased an early 13-point deficit and buckled up defensively starting in the second frame, taking a 46-42 halftime lead.

It was all Fever from the second half, leading by as many as 27 points to secure the 3-1 season-series win over the Sky.

Kelsey Mitchell added 23 points,  NaLyssa Smith and Lexie Hull combined for 25 markers as Indiana rolled to its third straight win.

Meanwhile, Reese finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds as she passed Tina Charles for the most double-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history with 23.

Michaela Onyenwere paced the Sky with a team-high 20 markers, Lindsay Allen chipped in 19 points and Rachel Banham had 14 markers.

Chicago (11-20) now dropped its fifth straight game, but the Sky are still hanging tight to the eighth and final playoff spot with nine games left.
