Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been reinstated by the NBA, the league announced on Saturday.
The Warriors forward missed 12 games starting December 14, an indefinite suspension coming after striking Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic on December 12.
"Green completed steps that demonstrated his commitment to conforming his conduct to standards expected of NBA players," Joe Dumars, executive vice president and head of basketball operations, said.
"He has engaged in meetings with a counselor and has met jointly on multiple occasions with representatives of the NBA, the Warriors, and the National Basketball Players Association, both of which will continue throughout the season."

The NBA previously noted Green's "repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts" in handing out the indefinite suspension last month.
He was suspended for five games in November after putting Minnesota Timberolves' Rudy Gobert in a headlock during a scuffle.
He was also suspended for stomping on the chest of Sacramento Kings' Domantas Sabonis during the previous NBA playoffs.
Golden State has gone 7-5 during the recent period when Green was unable to play. The Warriors will next host the Toronto Raptors on Monday, January 8 at 9:30 a.m., Philippine time.
