After a tight first half, the Timberwolves found their groove in the third quarter as they pounced the Clippers and take a 15-point lead into the opening parts of the fourth, 83-68.
The Clippers would claw their way back though, getting as close to three, 100-103, with a minute left.
But a monster performance by Anthony Edwards and some clutch defensive stops by Rudy Gobert helped seal the win for the Timberwolves.

Edwards led the way for Minnesota with 33 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, while Gobert anchored the Wolves to the tune of 15 points, 18 rebounds, and four blocks.
Minnesota improved to 28-11, keeping a half game lead over idle OKC.
Kawhi Leonard went for 26 points and nine rebounds to lead Los Angeles as the Clippers drop to 25-16 in the standings.
