Shai Gilgeous-Alexander issued a challenge to the Thunder after their 42-point blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3.

“Next game, we're either going to get back up or not [and] we're going to lose the game. We've got a decision to make."

Oklahoma City made the right choice — and now they’re just one win away from the NBA Finals.

Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren combined for 95 points, powering a 128-126 Thunder escape over the Timberwolves in Game 4 for a commanding 3-1 series lead in their Western Conference Finals clash, Tuesday (PH time), May 27.

After being held to a playoff-low 14 points in the previous contest, the reigning MVP bounced back and flirted 40-point triple-double.

Jalen Williams also atoned for a sub-par Game 3, putting up 34 markers, six threes, and five assists as OKC moved one win away from their NBA Finals trip since 2012.

Not to be denied, Chet Holmgren also contributed 21 points, seven rebounds, and a series of thunderous slams throughout the game.

OKC built a sizable 109-100 lead off a Holmgren slam with under seven minutes left in regulation. Minnesota, however, made it a single possession game to make it 121-123 when Jaden McDaniels hit a critical triple as 23 ticks remained.

Down 126-128 with 0.3 seconds left, the Timberwolves had a chance to steal the win but Williams intercepted Julius Randle’s in-bound pass in the game’s final possession.

Game 5 of the series continues on Thursday (PH time), May 29 as Oklahoma City aims to close out Minnesota back at their crib.

Meanwhile, Nickeil Alexander-Walker paced Minnesota with 23 points spiked on five threes in a losing effort.

Jaden McDaniels and Donte DiVincenzo logged 22 and 21 markers respectively but the Timberwolves are facing elimination for the first time in this playoffs.

Anthony Edwards finished with 16 points after being held to just four at halftime.
