What went down
The Phoenix Suns posted a 118-110 win over the New York Knicks, 118-110, to end their losing skid, while also stopping the Knicks’ nine-game winning streak.
New York started out hot, shooting an impressive 71.4 percent in the field led by Reggie Bullock, who had 12 in the opening period. Devin Booker kept the Suns alive with his own 12 points, but he couldn’t keep his team from trailing behind by as much as 15 in the opening period.
The Knicks kept their distance until the end of the first half, but things started to change after the break. The Suns came out explosive, thanks to a 11-5 run led by Booker. Derrick Rose and Immanuel Quickley teamed up to keep the Knicks in control, but the Suns finally took the lead the Knicks late in the third quarter.
The teams went back and forth in the fourth period, but Mikal Bridges helped the Suns claim a nine-point lead with less than three minutes remaining in the ball game. Momentum shifted completely to the Suns from there on as the Knicks could no longer contain them. Chris Paul sealed the win for Phoenix by scoring seven points in the final moments of the game.

Big-time baller
Bradley Beal’s offensive excellence came through as he gave the Wizards 45 points against the San Antonio Spurs. It was Beal’s crucial layup in the fourth that sent the game to overtime. Unfortunately, he missed a game-tying three that allowed the Spurs to snatch their third straight win.
What he said
Kendrick Perkins took to Twitter and praised Anthony Edwards and his stellar performance as a rookie for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Anthony Edwards is a rockstar and he lives up to it on the court! That team needs to be centered around him, hope the T’Wolves don’t blow it! Carry on...

The tweet came after another incredible game from Edwards, who had 14 points, nine rebounds, and four assists in a close win over the Utah Jazz.
