What went down
The Los Angeles Clippers used last-minute runs to secure a 119-110 win on Tuesday, ending the streaking Atlanta Hawks’ nine-game winning streak.
Luke Kennard did no wrong, hitting every single shot from anywhere on the court. He shot a perfect 8-of-8, half of which came from beyond the arc. Despite not playing in the first half, Kennard gave the Clippers 20 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in 18 minutes.
The match was filled with runs from the first quarter down to the last few minutes. The Clippers took the early lead led by Marcus Morris Sr.’s 13 points in the opening quarter. The Hawks then responded with their own run, making a 20-point turnaround to go in front.
It seemed like the Hawks had full control of the game until the Clippers made a 23-5 run that bridged the third and fourth quarters, a pivotal sequence in the game that gave LA the momentum and eventually the win.
Kawhi Leonard and Terance Mann joined Kennard at the top of the board, scoring 25 and 21 points, respectively. Ivica Zubac had a near double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.
Trae Young and John Collins combined for 51 points, but it was not enough to keep the Hawks’ winning streak alive.
Big-time baller
John Wall worked extra hard today, giving the Houston Rockets a triple-double with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists to cut the team’s 20-game losing streak. The Rockets had a dominant 117-90 win against the Toronto Raptors to put a stop to their 20-game losing streak.

What he said
Rockets coach Stephen Silas finally had a smile on his face after his team finally got a win after six weeks.
“It’s indescribable for a win in March of this crazy season. I’m just so proud of the guys when you’re going through it and fighting so hard. We regroup, we come together and it feels a lot better just because I know it feels great for the players.”

Did you see that?
Tributes from the NBA community poured out on Tuesday after legend Elgin Baylor passed away. The league looked back on Baylor’s incredible career and his contributions to the game.
Elgin Baylor was the #1 draft pick in 1958. Known for his shooting, rebounding and hangtime, he was an immediate star player. His deeply physical, acrobatic moves revolutionized play above the rim in a way that endures today.pic.twitter.com/sgYq6f73Zf
