What went down

The San Antonio Spurs stole the show on Halloween night in the NBA with a 115-114 heist job on the Phoenix Suns.

After Victor Wembanyama made it a one-point game off a putback dunk, the Spurs played pressure defense to come up with a steal. Keldon Johnson took the ball from Kevin Durant and scored on a tough layup with 1.2 seconds left. The Suns missed their game-winning attempt in the next possession.

Down for most of the contest, the Spurs came alive in the fourth quarter and unleashed an 18-7 run to close the game. They outscored the Suns, 33-19, overall in the final 12 minutes.

Big-time baller

Keldon Johnson was the hero for the Spurs after his last-second basket. He finished with a game-high 27 points on a crisp 10-for-20 shooting from the field, including four triples. He also had three rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

What he said

After the matchup between two unicorns, Durant offered his thoughts on Wembanyama.

Did you see that?

Halloween in the NBA wouldn’t be complete without some costumes!

Extra Pass

It’s the battle of LA tomorrow as the Clippers take on the Lakers. There is certainly a lot of buzz in Clipper Nation after the blockbuster trade involving former MVP James Harden.

The Philadelphia 76ers sent Harden, along with PJ Tucker and Filip Petrusev, to Los Angeles in exchange for Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, Nic Batum, KJ Martin, and a couple of picks.

Harden and Tucker visited the Clippers' locker room before the game against the Orlando Magic and were welcomed by the team, including their former teammate Russell Westbrook.

Though the trade is in the process of becoming official, Harden and company are not expected to make their debut against the Lakers. Nonetheless, the matchup between LeBron James and Anthony Davis versus Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Westbrook is still worth a watch.

The Clippers are 3-1 following their win over the Magic while the Lakers currently hold a 2-2 record.
