What went down

The Eastern Conference remains unpredictable and exciting 10 games into the season. The Knicks, one of last season's up-and-coming teams, were upstaged by this year's latest revelation: the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Ricky Rubio fired 37 points and 10 assists and rookie Evan Mobley poured in 26 points, nine rebounds, and five dimes as the Cavs took Madison Square Garden by storm. Jarrett Allen continues to rack up double-doubles as he finished with 18 and 17. Collin Sexton, meanwhile, logged in just 12 minutes as he left the game with a knee injury.

The Cavs have now won four in a row, seven of their last nine, and have been amazing on the road this season with five victories. They are currently sixth in the East with a 7-4 card.

The Nets, meanwhile, are steadily rising with their fifth consecutive win, improving to a 7-3 record. The Wizards also got the better of the defending champion Bucks and are now tied in the standings with the Nets. Bradley Beal dropped 30 points and eight assists against Giannis Antetokounmpo's 29 points and 18 rebounds.

It's still early, but who would have predicted the Wizards and the Cavaliers in the top six of the standings?

Big-time baller

Ricky Rubio flat out balled for a career night. He scored 37 points and knocked down eight triples – both personal-bests – as he helped the Cavaliers win their fourth straight. He also had 10 assists and three rebounds in 31 minutes off the bench, which turned out to be a historic performance.

Rubio shot 13-of-19 from the field and missed just one trey out of nine attempts, providing his team much-needed firepower after Sexton went down with a knee injury. It was as though the blazing point guard tapped into his inner Spanish national team self and played his heart out for the world to see.

What he said

Cole Anthony continues to be an absolute delight in postgame interviews. It's the look on the camera. It's the words. It's the delivery. It's the confidence. It's the unabashed persona oozing out of the screen.

Did you see that?

It was Filipino Heritage Night in San Francisco and it's only fitting that Jalen Green had a highlight. The Rockets lost and Green put up quiet numbers, but this dunk was anything but quiet.
