What went down
The good news for the Nets is that they’ve won 18 of their last 20 games. Their latest win was a narrow 102-101 victory over the Heat thanks to a putback by Royce O’Neale with 3.2 seconds left.
The bad news for the Nets is that Kevin Durant went down with an apparent knee injury. It was late in the third quarter when Miami’s Jimmy Butler landed on him. He stayed in the game after the collision but eventually had to exit and head back into the locker room moments later. According to Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn, KD is expected to undergo an MRI.
Kyrie Irving led the way for Brooklyn with 29 points and six assists while Durant added 17 points before going down with an injury.
Big-time baller
Putting up stellar numbers across the board all the rave nowadays but don’t forget one of the original proprietors of the triple-double: James Harden. The Beard collected 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists to lead the 76ers past the Pistons.
With Joel Embiid out because of a foot injury, Harden took full control of the offense. He was an efficient 7-for-14 from the field and knocked down three triples. And with his elite playmaking, five other Sixers breached double-figures.
What he said
It was Royce O’Neale’s second putback game-winner for the Nets. Sometimes it’s just being at the right place at the right time.

Did you see that?
The Heat may have lost but they did have a massive highlight on Monday. Bam Adebayo caught a body on his way to the hoop:
buddy should've just gotten out the way 😭 pic.twitter.com/jNl2qnIDZW
