What went down
As we celebrate Christmas, the NBA tradition continues — the fans get a lineup of exciting games that light up the holidays. Christmas was filled with the best plays, intense rivalries, and incredible moments as the league’s top teams and players hit the court.
NBA Christmas Day was headlined by the best rivalry in the league, with the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Boston Celtics. This marked the fifth time ever and the first time since 2008 that the Lakers and Celtics faced each other on Christmas Day.
The Celtics were able to hold off the Lakers in the final quarter, despite Anthony Davis recording 40 points in the ball game. Kristaps Porzingis once again proved himself valuable for the Celtics franchise as he led the squad with 28 points and 11 boards, alongside all five starters who at least had 18 points in the victory.
Another game that got everyone’s televisions turned on during the celebrations was the Warriors versus the Nuggets. Jamal Murray served coal to the Dubs as he erupted for 28 points, while Jokic had an off game but was able to pull off 18-of-18 from the free throw line.

Extra Pass
The Minnesota Timberwolves-Oklahoma City Thunder game tomorrow would be a good game to watch with friends and family. The Timberwolves are intriguing to watch out for, considering they’ve been one of the best teams in the league all season. However, OKC is as healthy as any team in the league, and they were able to take the Timberwolves down to the wire a few weeks ago on the road.
You can catch the Timberwolves and Thunder live on NBA TV Philippines.
