Scoreboard

Knicks 102, Magic 98

Suns 116, Nets 112

Pelicans 116, Hawks 107

Grizzlies 104, Bulls 89

Nuggets 146, Timberwolves 112

What went down

LeBron James made history by becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. He needed 36 points to break the record and he did so late in the third quarter by draining a jumper.

The King now has a total of 38,390 points in the regular season, surpassing the 39-year record held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who had 38,387 points for his career.

The Lakers, however, lost to the OKC Thunder, 133-130.

Big-time baller

James finished the game with 38 points on 13-of-20 shooting, including four triples, alongside seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

He scored 20 points in the first half and had 16 in the third quarter highlighted by the jumper to make history.

What he said
