What went down

Victor Wembanyama and LeBron James faced each other for the first time today and showed why they’re generational talents.

Without the designated rim protector Anthony Davis, the 19-year-old rookie was able to take advantage inside, finishing with a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds. Devin Vassell also came up big in the victory with a career-high 36 points.

Another game that made everyone tune in today was the New York Knicks' win over the Phoenix Suns.

Jalen Brunson dropped a career-high 50 points and made history with a crazy stat line. He went 19-for-23 from the field, 7-for-9 on free throws, and 9-for-9 from deep.

He tied the NBA record for the most 3-pointers without a miss in a single game. Absolute flamethrower.

Big-time baller

Dillon Brooks gets his sweet revenge on Memphis after pulling the crucial 3-pointer to send the game away in Houston’s favor. Brooks finished with 26 big points and seven boards.

What he said

Tonight was the first time Kevin Durant lost to the Knicks in 10 years. He acknowledged how hard Brunson played in the fourth and how his franchise is all behind him to support him in getting up shots.

Did you see that?

The Atlanta Hawks also snapped a season-long five-game losing skid, snatching a win at the expense of the Raptors as Trae Young led them with 38 points and 11 assists.

Something that can’t be taught to players: CONFIDENCE.

Here’s an awesome play by Trae all the way from the logo.

Extra Pass

The Rockets have been catching fire this season after recently extending their win streak to five games and their home-court winning streak to 11 games. Although the Bucks are the clear favorites on paper, the Rockets have shown flashes of potential throughout the last two months. If they can up their defense, play with hustle, and get hot from the 3-point area, they have a huge chance to snatch a win over Milwaukee.

You can catch the Rockets and Bucks live on NBA TV Philippines.
