Walker Kessler delivered a game-saving block to help the Utah Jazz complete a comeback win over the Boston Celtics.

Scoreboard

Knicks 116, Nuggets 110

Magic 113, Clippers 108

Sixers 141, Pacers 121

Raptors 122, Timberwolves 107

Kings 132, Wizards 118

Bulls 113, Heat 99

Grizzlies 133, Warriors 119

Jazz 118, Celtics 117

What went down

What was shaping up to be a sweet Grant Williams career game quickly turned sour in a matter of seconds.

The Jazz were up by a point with time winding down when Williams found himself in point-blank range and a chance to win the game at the buzzer. Jazz rookie Walker Kessler had his own ideas.

Kessler blocked the Williams game-winning try to complete a 19-point Jazz comeback, further adding insult to Boston’s injury. Williams finished with 23 points in the losing effort while Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 25.

The Jazz put out a more balanced effort with all five of their starters scoring in double figures. The loss allowed the Sixers to overtake Boston in the East standings while the Jazz solidified their position for a play-in slot in the West.

Danny Ainge, CEO of Jazz basketball and Celtic legend, should be happy with the result of this special game on his calendar.

Big-time ballers

The Sixers have won eight straight games, making them the second seed in the East after Boston’s loss. Joel Embiid is even hotter than that, scoring more than 30 points in nine straight games. He’s the first Sixer in franchise history to do that.

The Magic are making good use of their remaining games as they hunt for the play-in slot. Against the Clippers, Markelle Fultz and Wendell Carter Jr. scored 28 points and 27 points, respectively.

What he said

The Kings came out with another big road win, this time versus the Wizards. This is what they said:

Did you see that?

The Memphis Grizzlies haven’t been getting good press lately, so a Zach Randolph sighting is just what they needed.

Z-Bo, who was sitting courtside in the win versus the Warriors, also found out that he is being inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame:

More good vibes: Ted Lasso was also courtside at the Knicks game.
