The Charlotte Hornets continue to pile up the wins after beating the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.

Scoreboard

  • Hornets 122, Kings 116
  • Bucks 133, Wizards 122
  • Spurs 109, Pistons 99
  • Nets 117, Knicks 112
  • Clippers 109, Mavericks 99
  • Nuggets 121, Pacers 106
  • Suns 122, Grizzlies 99
  • Lakers 128, Warriors 97

What went down

Hum diddly-dee, the Charlotte Hornets are the most fun team to watch in the NBA right now.

Trailing the Sacramento Kings by seven with less than five minutes to go, the Hornets chipped away at the deficit. Terry Rozier and Devonte' Graham kept the Hornets close until Gordon Hayward put them over the edge. Then, Hayward later found Rozier for the dagger.

That's four straight wins for the Hornets, two of them coming off late comebacks against the Kings.

If you couldn't tell by Charlotte play-by-play guy Eric Collins' voice, there’s never been a better time for Hornets fans. Between Hayward's resurgence, LaMelo Ball's exciting play and Collins calling home games, every Hornets game is must-watch.

Big-time baller

The battle between the two New York teams hasn’t always been the best to watch, but both Brooklyn and New York are serious playoffs contenders this year.

Even with Spike Lee, Michael B. Jordan, and Bobby Shmrda in Barclays Center, James Harden was the biggest star. The Beard finished with 21 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists to power the Nets past the Knicks in a tight game.

Harden gets triple-doubles as easy as Ice Cube raps about getting triple-doubles, but this one was particularly crazy. Harden already had 11 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists at the half. This was also only Harden’s 26th game as a Net and he already has 10 triple-doubles, just two away from tying Jason Kidd for the franchise record for most in a season.

What he said

Most post-game interviews sound mundane with questions and answers seemingly being recycled. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, though, brings a certain warmth to all his postgame media obligations.

We're not seven-footers with arms that reach past our knees, but we’re all Giannis every Friday.

What's in a number?

Steph Curry is bound to become the greatest Golden State Warrior ever. He's now climbing some important lists. Big shoutouts to the always-excellent Warriors social media team for this perfect gif.

When Steph gets his statue outside Oracle Arena or the Chase Center, it'll immortalize his beautiful shooting form. Curry doesn't get as much recognition for his passing, but he's always been a great playmaker. You don’t get 4,856 assists just running around screens shooting 3s.

Did you see that?

The Warriors ended up getting blown out by the Los Angeles Lakers. Still, they got their laughs in. Kyle Kuzma had a great game, but air balls will always be funny.

The San Antonio Spurs were on the right end of a blowout and this Lonnie Walker IV pass summed up how they shredded the struggling Detroit Pistons.
