What went down
Three out of today's six games featured heart-pounding endings.
To start the day, the Denver Nuggets barely escaped the Houston Rockets. Denver's offense has been struggling to find form this season, even getting a big blow today after Michael Porter Jr. exited the game due to back soreness.
But the Nuggets have been on point defensively. Just last week, they escaped the Minnesota Timberwolves thanks to a pair of big blocks. Today, it was Nikola Jokic who scrambled back on defense to thwart Jae’Sean Tate’s last-second layup attempt.

Then, in another form of deja vu, Luka Doncic again welcomed the Boston Celtics to Dallas with a buzzer-beating, game-winner from deep.

Finally in Phoenix, the Suns rallied from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to outlast the Atlanta Hawks. Chris Paul and Devin Booker featured heavily in the comeback, but it was Frank Kaminsky and Jae Crowder who found the finishing touches for the Deandre Ayton-less Suns.

Big-time baller
It’s no stretch to say that Luka Magic is the most famous Magic in the NBA today, beating out Orlando and Johnson.
The Slovenian wunderkind tallied 33 points on 12-for-21 shooting with nine rebounds and five assists. You would think Boston would not let Luka take a shot to beat them after he hit a game-winner against them just last February, but the Celtics haven’t been making the best decisions as a team lately.

The Mavs’ social media team also deserves some love for this marvelous angle of Luka’s shot. From the building tension to Luka fading, seemingly falling into the crowd – this clip is pretty close to a masterpiece.

Did you see that?
Before almost getting knocked out by Joel Embiid, Lonzo Ball put on a show in Chicago with Zach LaVine.
