What went down
All seats were sealed after the jam-packed final day of the regular season.
Both the Washington Wizards and the Golden State Warriors safely secured the No. 8 spots of their respective conferences after big wins today. The Charlotte Hornets settled for the final spot of the Eastern Conference’s play-in tournament after losing to the Wizards. The Memphis Grizzlies took the 9th spot in the West after falling to the Warriors.
The confusing three-way tie between the Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers was also resolved. All the three teams ended up with a record of 42-30, but they are in extremely different positions.
Dallas remained at the No. 5 spot as the champion of the southwest division. Portland stays in the 6th spot, having a tiebreaker advantage over the Lakers. That left the defending champs at the No. 7 spot, putting them up against the Warriors in the first game of the Western Conference’s play-ins.
The Los Angeles Clippers’ loss put the Denver Nuggets in the third seed in the West. This means the Trail Blazers and Nuggets will face each other in the first round of the playoffs, with Denver holding home court advantage.
Big-time baller
Steph Curry has been playing as if he’s a character in a video game. In their final match of the regular season, Curry delivered 46 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists. He also had a block and a steal for good measure.

Curry passed Wilt Chamberlain’s all-time Warriors scoring record and bagged the 2020-21 Scoring Title. His success puts him among NBA greats Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Chamberlain as the only players with multiple scoring titles, MVPs, and championships. Curry is also the first player to cop the Scoring Title at 33 years old or older since Jordan in 1997-98.

Considered one of the greatest shooters of all time, Curry averaged 32.0 points this season and maintained a 40+ percent career shooting average from beyond the arc, excluding the previous season where he only played five games due to an injury.
Did you see that?
The best play of the season? The best play of the Brooklyn Nets?
Well, one thing is for sure -- this was the best play of the game, and many fans will watch this over and over again.
