The Bulls came to New York and took down the Knicks, while the Grizzlies had an NBA-record 73-point win over the Thunder.

Scoreboard

Bulls 119, Knicks 115

Raptors 97, Bucks 93

Grizzlies 152, Thunder 79

Suns 114, Pistons 103

Spurs 114, Trail Blazers 83

What went down

The Suns marched to a franchise-record 18th straight wins at the expense of the Pistons. It was another balanced effort for the 19-3 Suns with seven players scoring in double figures. Deandre Ayton had 17 points and 12 rebounds while Chris Paul put up 12 points and 12 assists. The two Cams - Payne and Johnson - each had 19 points and six boards.

The win wasn't as easy as the final score suggests as the Pistons put up quite the fight. They were within shouting distance for most of the game largely thanks to the brilliance of Jerami Grant and his 34-point output. However, CP3 and company simply showed their veteran prowess down the stretch and pulled away.

Meanwhile, in a battle between two Eastern heavyweights, the Bulls survived a second-half surge by the Knicks. The home team cut down a 21-point deficit but ran out of steam. DeMar DeRozan had 34 points while Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine netted 27 each.

Big-time baller

DeMar DeRozan has been a godsend for Chicago this season. He's obviously been a heavy-hitter on offense, but more importantly, it's his clutch factor that gets the wins. Against the Knicks, he scored 18 of his 34 points in the final frame.

The midrange maven was 12-for-19 from the field and 10-for-11 at the line. He also had six rebounds and three assists.

What he said

The Grizzlies made history in their romp over the Thunder and they did it even without their star Ja Morant. You can tell from his tweet that Ja is itching to get back on the court.

What's in a number?

It's a final score that will make you check and double-check if you read it right.

The Grizzlies defeated the Thunder in historic fashion, 152-79.

The 73-point gap is the largest margin of victory in league history, eclipsing the previous record of 68 points set by the Cavaliers over the Heat with a score of 148-80 back on December 17, 1991.

The Grizzlies had nine players reach double figures and enjoyed a lead as high as 78 points. They reached a ton of franchise records in this one and it’s quite a list:
