In a sensational shooting performance, Damian Lillard led the Eastern Conference to their first All-Star Game win since 2014.
Dame was named the Kobe Bryant All-Star Game MVP after scoring 39 points with 11 3-pointers to lead the East to a 211-186 win over the West. 211 points are an NBA All-Star Game record.

It's a strong weekend for Lillard, as he won back-to-back 3-point titles yesterday, edging the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Karl Anthony-Towns and the Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young in the final round.
Tyrese Haliburton followed suit and scored 32 points, seven rebounds, and six assists representing the hometown Indiana Pacers. Jaylen Brown delivered 36 points for the East, while captain Giannis Antetokounmpo tallied 23 of his own to help break the 200-point barrier for the first time.

The NBA returned to the traditional East against West format this season after six straight years of team captains drafting rosters regardless of conference affiliation.

Karl Anthony-Towns was at his best for the West, contributing 50 points in the loss. First time All-Star starter Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put up 31 points, Kevin Durant had 18, while Stephen Curry and Devin Booker supplied the West with 16 and 15 points respectively. Captain LeBron James had a humble outing of eight points and three assists.

With defense essentially optional, fans were able to witness multiple highlight plays from their favorite NBA players:
And of course, we saw the 3-point king Lillard shooting all the way from the halfcourt.
With highlight play after highlight play, Lillard and the East took control of the offense and rode on a commanding halftime lead that eventually led to them taking home the win.
