Domantas Sabonis now holds the longest double-double single season streak in Sacramento Kings history, surpassing Oscar Robertson.

After getting snubbed from the NBA All-Star selection, Domantas Sabonis notched his 30th consecutive double-double for the Sacramento Kings. He finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds alongside seven assists and two steals in the victory against the Indiana Pacers.

Sabonis' performance set a franchise record for the longest consecutive double-double in a single season. This was previously held by Oscar Robertson, who had a 29-game streak spanning from December 6, 1961 to January 30, 1962.

Robertson's next record of 31 spanned for a couple of seasons.

The Kings were ahead by 11 before halftime and managed to extend the lead to 13 in the third. The Pacers’ shots weren’t falling off, letting the Kings cruise past them until the final frame.

De’Aaron Fox also responded perfectly to not being included in the All-Stars by putting up 25 points to help the Kings get their fifth win in the six-game road trip. Malik Monk, meanwhile, scored 23 markers while Harrison Barnes tallied 22 in the match.

The Indiana Pacers had a lot of hope before the game since their top scorer and All-Star Tyrese Haliburton was announced as available to play. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury.

It was his first game coming off the bench since his rookie season in 2021. He produced 14 points in the loss.

Bennedict Mathurin led the Pacers in scoring with 31 points and four assists, and the streaking Pascal Siakam ended up with 22 and six boards.
