It's an Empire State of Mind for the Knicks in Brooklyn.
Fans got quite a treat to start off Rivals Week with a borough battle between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets. The game between the two rivals went down to the wire at Barclays Center Wednesday (PHL), but the Knicks came out on top, 108-103.
Led by the matching 30-point performances from the star duo of Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle, the Knicks took their fourth-straight victory and improved to a 27-17 record.
The early part of the game saw the Knicks cruising, but Mikal Bridges got hot in the third to keep the Nets within striking distance.Jalen Brunson tonight:

The Knicks, however, put on a show in the fourth frame and outscored Brooklyn, 32-18, to run away with the win.
Aside from Brunson and Randle, Donte DiVincenzo added 11 points while OG Anunoby pitched in 10 for the Knicks. Bridges was the top scorer for Brooklyn, a game-high 36 points, along with five assists, and five boards. Cam Johnson helped him out with 19 of his own, while Nic Claxton was a force in the paint with eight points and 17 big rebounds.
