The Dallas Mavericks returned the favor and snapped the Golden State Warriors’ six game winning run. <br/>

PJ Washington played his best game as a Maverick since Dallas acquired his services back in February.

In the latest chapter of their storied rivalry, Stephen Curry and Kyrie Irving duked it out with clutch baskets late in regulation.

But PJ Washington put up the biggest bucket of the night.

Washington scored the game-winning bucket with 4.1 seconds left, Irving came up big late as the Dallas Mavericks turned back the visiting Golden State Warriors, 108-106.

The 12th pick of the 2019 NBA draft finished with a team-high 32 points, no bigger than his driving layup off a Irving pass to give Dallas the lead.

Golden State had a chance to win the game, but Klay Thompson’s left wing triple fell short.

The Mavericks, who missed the services of superstar Luka Doncic due to a right knee soreness, snapped the Warriors’ six game run, a familiar feat that happened just two days ago.

Dallas saw their season-high seven game winning streak ended at the hands of the same team they beat on Saturday, Philippine time.

Irving finished with 26 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, including nine in the final frame and some pin-point dimes to Daniel Gafford, who provided a solid output of 10 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and three blocks.

Uncle Drew connected on a mid-range jumper to pad the Mavericks lead to six points, 105-99 with 1:43 ticks remaining.

After a Gary Payton II bucket, Curry drained a long three pointer to cut the lead to a single possession game, 105-104.

Steph then proceeded to hit a baseline jumper to tie things up at 106, paving the way for Washington’s game winner.

Curry finished with 28 markers while Thompson added 16 and Payton and Brandin Podziemski each having 14.

Golden State ended the first half on an 8-0 run, built on back-to-back triples from Curry and Thompson and a Trayce Jackson-Davis oop from Chris Paul’s lob pass for a 54-52 lead.

The Mavericks (47-30) strengthened their grip for the fifth spot in the West while closing in with the fourth-seeded LA Clippers (48-28).

The Warriors’ (42-35) kept an enough cushion with the four-game lead of the 11th-placed Rockets (38-38) for the 10th and final spot in the Play-In Tournament.
