Phoenix's backup big man was injured early in The Finals opener between the Suns and Bucks.

Saric was injured on his lone shot attempt in Game 1 of the 2021 Finals.

Phoenix’s frontcourt depth suffered a Finals hit when Dario Saric was ruled out for the rest of Game 1 with a right knee injury suffered in the first quarter. The veteran forward exited with a notable limp following an awkward attempt to score inside on Brook Lopez.

Saric, Phoenix’s first big man off the bench for most of the season, has played more sparingly during the Suns’ first Finals run since 1993. The former lottery pick has averaged just 4.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game during the 2021 postseason.
