Back at full strength, the Phoenix Suns finally stopped the bleeding.

Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal combined for 46 points in their first game back from a lengthy layoff, helping the Suns end a five-game skid at the expense of the LA Lakers, 127-100.

Devin Booker top-scored Phoenix with 26 points on top of 10 assists, who also handed the Lakers their first-ever loss in the NBA Cup. The Lakers went 7-0 last season to win the tournament and prevailed in their first two group games this year before losing to the Suns (2-1).

Phoenix is now 7-1 this season when the trio of Durant, Booker, and Beal played altogether.

The Suns broke the game wide open with a 36-18 third quarter and led by as many as points to hike their record to 10-7 overall.

Anthony Davis posted 25 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocks to lead the Lakers while Austin Reaves chipped in 15.

LeBron James finished 18 markers and 10 dimes.

Up next for the Lakers (2-1) are the OKC Thunder (1-1) in their final NBA Cup group stage match, while the Suns travel to San Antonio to face Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs (2-1).
