Less than a week away, the NBA All-Star Game starters will be revealed.
Former MVPs Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic emerged as the top two vote-getters with other notable superstars like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry making the top of the list, according to the third and final fan returns.

With that, we asked some of your favorite PBA players on who will comprise their dream NBA All-Star starting five regardless of the conference.
RJ Abarrientos, Jamie Malonzo (Barangay Ginebra San Miguel)
- RJ’s picks: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, LeBron James, Nikola Jokic
- Jamie’s picks: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns, LaMelo Ball, Jalen Brunson, Jayson Tatum
Of their dream All-Star starting five, only Giannis and KAT are the common denominators between the Ginebra teammates. As far as LeBron and Tatum, you can never go wrong with these picks.
However, RJ took SGA — who is having an MVP-caliber season for the West-leading OKC Thunder— while Malonzo chose Ball, who is averaging a career-high 29.3 points per game for the Hornets.
Both players are the leading the guards position in their respective conferences based on the latest fan returns.

Fans account for 50% of the vote to decide All-Star starters. Players and a media panel account for 25% each.
Hayden Blankley, Steven Guinchard (Eastern)
- Hayden’s picks: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, LaMelo Ball, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns
- Steven’s picks: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Damian Lillard, Anthony Edwards, Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama
Both Blankley and Guinchard picked SGA with other notable names present. Two that were floated were Edwards and Wembanyama.
Ant is currently fifth in the West backcourt, while Wemby is in a tight frontcourt race for the second starter spot just behind James and Durant.
Jayson Castro (TNT Tropang Giga), Terrence Romeo (Terrafirma Dyip)
- Jayson’s picks: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Paolo Banchero
- Terrence’s picks: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Luka Kyrie Irving
Two of the most explosive guards that ever stepped foot in the PBA have almost the same dream All-Star starting five except for one.
The Blur took Banchero, who is having a All-Star type season early before he was sidelined for almost three months with an oblique injury.
Meanwhile, the Terrafirma guard selected Irving, a former NBA champion. Like Romeo, Irving is known for his sick handles and ability to deliver instant buckets.
Kevin Alas (NLEX Road Warriors), George King (Blackwater Bossing)
- Kevin’s picks: LeBron James, Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic
- George’s picks: LeBron James, LaMelo Ball, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cade Cunningham, Victor Wembanyama
Both Alas and King have King James in their list. But Alas chose a potential Curry-Doncic backcourt while King went with a LaMelo-SGA combo.
The Blackwater import made an interesting pick in Cunningham, who is making a solid case for a maiden All-Star appearance for the Detroit Pistons.
The former No. 1 pick is averaging career-highs in points (24.4) and assists (9.4) while tallying seven triple-doubles this season.
Whose dream NBA All-Star starting five do you agree with?
