Everything seemed to go wrong for Oklahoma City through most of a must-win Game 4.

The Thunder shot a dismal 3-of-17 from beyond the arc, trailed in assists at 10-21, and faced a 10-point deficit late in the third quarter — staring down the barrel of a daunting 3-1 series hole.

But somehow, some way, OKC found a way to breathe life back into its championship hopes.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander took command in the fourth as the Thunder rallied past the Indiana Pacers, 111-104, to tie their NBA Finals series at two-games apiece on Saturday (PH time), June 14.

The reigning MVP poured in 15 of his 35 points in the final frame , including a go-ahead jumper that gave the Thunder their first lead of the second half at 104-103 with 2:23 left.

OKC never looked back from there, holding on to secure their first road win of the NBA Finals — at the best possible time.

After trailing 87-80 entering the fourth, the Thunder finally flipped the script, outscoring Indiana in the final period for the first time in the series after having been outscored by a combined 27 points in the first three games.

Jalen Williams chipped in 27 markers, while Alex Caruso played a solid outing off the bench with 20 points and five steals. Chet Holmgren finished with a huge 14-point, 15-rebound double-double.

Oklahoma City made a line-up change as Isaiah Hartenstein started in place of Cason Wallace and the decision paid off.  The Thunder outrebounded the Pacers, 43-33, and dominated inside thanks to a 50-36 pain-point advantage.

Game 5 is set on Tuesday (PH time), June 17 as both teams eye a pivotal 3-2 lead.

Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam topscored the Pacers with 20 points as Tyrese Haliburton added 18 markers and seven assists.

Obi Toppin chipped in 17 markers and seven rebounds off the bench but Indiana got outscored 14-4 in the final 3:52 seconds of regulation. The Pacers  also lost a Game 4 for the first time this playoffs after winning their first three.
