The Mavericks just absorbed a tough loss to the Trail Blazers, but they have a chance to quickly recover in their rematch on Monday.

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are aiming to get their revenge against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday live on NBA TV Philippines beginning 10 AM.

It’s a quick turnaround for the two teams that just battled Saturday, which ended in a 125-119 Portland win. The Trail Blazers solidified their hold on the sixth seed in the standings with a 25-16 slate. It was a thriller down the stretch as the Blazers had to rally in the fourth quarter after being down by as many as eight points.

The Blazers had the last laugh, as Lillard’s backcourt mate CJ McCollum helped push the team back to outscore the Mavericks in the final period, 32-21. McCollum tallied a team-high 32 points in only 27 minutes, draining seven triples to lead Portland. He hasn’t skipped a beat since returning from injury, posting an average of 17.6 points in the last 3 games.

Carmelo Anthony also lifted Portland off the bench and made history along the way. His 18 points pushed him to the 27,000-point mark, making him the 11th player to achieve this milestone. Anthony, the 11th All-Time leading scorer in the league, continues to climb the ladder and cement his legacy as one of the best bucket-getters in NBA history.

The Mavericks should be determined to get their revenge, as the loss spoiled what was a brilliant performance from Doncic. The superstar flirted with a triple-double of 38 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. However, he didn’t get adequate support from Kristaps Porzingis who submitted a pedestrian performance of 11 points on 3-of-8 shooting from the field.

The Mavericks and the Blazers have always figured in memorable and thrilling games. Find out if the trend continues this Monday.
