The Denver Nuggets are headed back to the second round of the NBA Playoffs after a dominant 120–101 Game 7 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday (PHL), clinching their Western Conference first-round series, 4–3.

After trailing by five at the end of the first quarter, the Nuggets roared back with a 37–21 second quarter, then blew the game wide open in the third behind a 17–0 run that turned the contest into a rout.

Denver led by as many as 35 points in the second half, cruising to a statement win at home.

Aaron Gordon led a well-balanced Nuggets attack with 22 points, one of six players to score at least 15.

Christian Braun added 21, while Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Russell Westbrook each tallied 16. Michael Porter Jr. chipped in with 15.

Kawhi Leonard paced the Clippers with 22 points, but it wasn’t enough to prevent L.A. from suffering its third consecutive first-round exit.

The Nuggets now advance to face the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in what promises to be a high-octane second-round clash.
