The New York Liberty secured their spot in the WNBA Finals for the second straight year, defeating the Las Vegas Aces 76-62 in Game 4 to win their semis series, 3-1.

After falling to the Aces in last year’s Finals, New York turned the tables and knocked out the reigning champions, ending Las Vegas’ quest for a three-peat.

Sabrina Ionescu led the charge for the Liberty, putting up 22 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Breanna Stewart was a force as well, recording a double-double with 19 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists for New York.

A’Ja Wilson, the league’s MVP, fought to keep the Aces alive, finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds, but New York’s balanced attack proved too much for Las Vegas to overcome.

With the win, New York moves on to face either the Minnesota Lynx or Connecticut Sun in the WNBA Finals.

The Liberty will look to capture their first-ever championship, with the other semifinal series still locked at 2-2.
