Before showing his hops in the Slam Dunk Contest, Stephon Castle balled out.

Castle led a riveting 17-2 finish for Team C in a dominating 25-14 win over the Team G League to rule the 2025 NBA All-Star Rising Stars Challenge, Saturday, February 15.

The San Antonio Spurs guard had 12 points in the championship round, helping the squad overturn a 12-8 deficit early to win two straight knockout games and won the MVP honors.

That means Team C will compose Team Candace as the fourth and final team in the All-Star Game tournament on Monday, February 17, that also features Team Shaq’s “OGs,” Team Chuck’s “Global Stars,” and Team Kenny’s “Young Stars.”

To get there, Castle and Bryce McGowens activated their clutch genes just in the nick of time.

The fourth pick in the 2024 NBA Draft hit the game-clinching jumper as Team C sent Team T packing behind a 40-34 semifinal win.

Meanwhile, McGowens drained a clutch triple that sealed a stunning 40-39 Team G League upset of Amen and Ausar Thompson and Team M to book a spot in the finals.
