There’s no shortage of star power as the NBA announced the Eastern and Western Conference’s starters pool for the All-Star Game next month.

From the legendary veteran trio of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant to three of the last four champions in Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, and Jayson Tatum, meet the10 big-time names that earned the nod.
East Starters’ Pool
- Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) | 2024-25 averages: 31.5 PPG, 12 RPG, 6 APG
Antetokounmpo reigned supreme in the fan votes for the second straight season, becoming just the ninth player in league history to accomplish such a feat.
The Greek Freak is making his ninth straight All-Star selection, all with the Milwaukee Bucks, and won the MVP honors in the 2021 edition of the event in Atlanta.
Currently second in the league in scoring, the 30-year-old led the Bucks to a triumphant NBA Cup conquest last month en route to taking home the tournament MVP honors.
- Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics) | 2024-25 averages: 27.4 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 5.5 APG
The Celtics superstar will be appearing in his sixth straight All-Star Game and a third straight time the 2024 champion was voted a starter.
Tatum served as an injury replacement in the starting lineup in 2021 and 2022, but made a statement by scoring an All-Star game record 55 points in 2023 en route to winning the MVP honors at Salt Lake City.
- Karl-Anthony Towns (New York Knicks) | 2024-25 averages: 25.1 PPG, 13.9 RPG, 3.5 APG
Towns made instant impact in just his first season with the Knicks .
After being brought over to New York in a shocking trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves prior to the season, KAT was selected to his fifth All-Star appearance and first career start.
The NBA’s second leading rebounder, however, will not be coming alone…
- Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks) | 2024-25 averages: 26 PPG, 3 RPG, 7.3 APG
Joining Towns in San Francisco is Brunson, who will be headed for a second consecutive appearance in the event as well as his first-ever start.
The star duo became the first pair of Knick teammates to be named All-Star starters since Walt Frazier and Earl Monroe in 1975.
- Donovan Mitchell (New York Knicks) | 2024-25 averages: 23.2 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 4.5 APG
Mitchell earned a sixth straight All-Star selection and second start after leading the Cavaliers to a NBA-best 36-7 record.
Into his third season in Cleveland, the 28-year-old is the only player in the East to average 23 points, four rebounds, four assists, 1.3 steals, and shot 39% from deep.
West Starters’ Pool
- Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) | 2024-25 averages: 30.1 PPG ,13.2 RPG, 9.9 APG
The three-time MVP got his seventh NBA All-Star nod and fifth straight start.
Jokic, who received the most All-Star votes among all Western Conference players, currently leads the league in triple-doubles with 20 and is the only player to be in the top three of scoring, rebounding, and assist this season.
- LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers) | 2024-25 averages: 23.7 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 9 APG
It wouldn’t be the All-Star Game without the ‘King.’
James earned a record-extending 21st All-Star selection and is set to become the third player to appear in the All-Star Game after turning 40 years old.
He will start for the 21st consecutive year, eight more than Bob Cousy’s 13th straight All-Star start which is the second-most in league history.
- Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns ) | 2024-25 averages: 27.2 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 4.1 APG
Muck like James, the name Kevin Durant is always synonymous to the All-Star Game.
The two-time champion got selected to his 15th All-Star appearance and voted as a starter for the 13th straight time.
It will be KD’s second nod as a Sun, who also won the 2014 MVP honors of the event while still playing for the OKC Thunder.
- Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors) | 2024-25 averages: 22.6 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 6.3 APG
Just Steph-ortless.
Curry collected his 11th All-Star nod and 10th straight start, passing Paul Arizin for most selections in the mid-season spectacle in Warriors history.
The MVP of the event in 2022 held in Cleveland, he became the oldest point guard–at 36 years old– to be an All-Star starter.
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder) | 2024-25 averages: 32 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 6.1 APG
No surprises here.
One day removed from dropping a career-high 54 points, SGA got rewarded with a third All-Star selection and second straight start.
Currently the league’s leading scorer, Gilgeous-Alexander is among the MVP frontrunners after bannering a juggernaut Oklahoma City Thunder squad to a West-best 36-8 record.
