Nobody hustled harder this season than Draymond Green.

The four-time champion earned the 2025 NBA Hustle award for the first time in his career as announced on Saturday (PH time), April 26.

This marked the latest accolade in Green’s decorated career that includes a Defensive Player of the Year award, four All-Star selections, and eight All-Defensive Team honors to name a few.

He became the second former DOPY to get the recognition since Marcus Smart — who holds the most Hustle award distinction with three (2019, 2022, 2023).

Although Green didn't top any individual hustle category, the 35-year-old ranked in the top 15 in five of the league’s hustle metrics including contested three-point shots (2nd), charges drawn (6th), defensive box outs (10th), contested two-point shots (13th) and deflections (15th).

Regarded as one of the most versatile defenders in the game, he emerged as the first player in the award's nine-year inception to finish inside the top 40 across all nine hustle categories.

Green was also one of only two players, alongside OKC’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, to average at least 1.45 steals and 1.0 blocks per game while appearing in 40 or more games this season.

The Warriors are currently battling the no. 2 seed Houston Rockets in the West opening round with their series tied at one-game apiece.

Game 3 takes place on Tuesday, (PH time), April 29.
