Julius Randle and the Minnesota Timberwolves put the exclamation point on what turned out to be a rude night for the LA teams this NBA Thursday.

Randle waxed hot and finished with 20 points as the Timberwolves ended the Clippers’ nine-game winning streak at home behind a 108-80 demolition.

The former Most Improved Player raced to a fast start, dropping 16 first-quarter points as he outscored Los Angeles, who tallied 14 markers as a team, by himself during that period.

Anthony Edwards added 16 markers for Minnesota, who tied a season-high three-game winning streak and moved to 11-10.

Earlier, the Lakers suffered a 134-93 beating against the Heat that saw them trailed by as many as 43 points in Miami.

And nearly 2,730 miles across downtown Inglewood, the Clippers suffered the same fate against a Timberwolves team who beat them six days ago in Minnesota.

On the other hand, Bones Hyland registered 18 points off the bench for the Clippers, who dropped to 14-10 with the loss.

The Clips aim to bounce back when they host West no. 2 Houston Rockets (15-7) while the Timberwolves visit the Golden State Warriors (12-8) next.
