Jonathan Kuminga stepped up with a career-high 33 markers, helping the Warriors snap a five-game skid at the expense of the West no. 2 Houston Rockets, 99-93.
Without Curry and Green, Kuminga took the scoring cudgels and also set a new-season high in points top of six rebounds in 32 minutes of play.

Both Curry and Green sat out as the former was dealing with knee issues while a left calf tightness prevented the latter from suiting up.
The two squads will meet anew in Houston next week, but this time in the NBA Cup quarterfinals where a semifinal ticket is on the line.
Alperen Sengun led the way for the Rockets with 16 points while Dillon Brooks added 15 more as Houston (15-8) dropped back-to-back games after winning three straight.
Up next for the Warriors is a home set of back-to-back against the Minnesota Timberwolves (11-10), while the Rockets visit the Clippers (14-10) in downtown Los Angeles.Beautiful behind-the-back pass on the break...
