When needed the most, Jamal Murray delivered for the Denver Nuggets anew.

Murray hit the game-winning three with 5.9 seconds left as the Nuggets hung on to overcome a fiesty LA Lakers' challenge, 131–126, in a bounce-back win, Saturday, March 15.

The 28-year-old finished with 26 points and five threes as Russell Westbrook intercepted Rui Hachimura’s inbound pass en route to icing the game with a fastbreak slam.

Nikola Jokic delivered 28 markers, seven rebounds, and five assists to pace the Nuggets, who improved to 43-24 with the win.

Meanwhile, Austin Reaves topscored LA (40-25) with an all-round effort of 37 markers, 13 dimes, and eight rebounds while Dalton Knecht added 32.  Superstar LeBron James missed his third straight game due to groin strain, while Luka Donic also did not suit up for the Lakers after dealing with calf and ankle injuries.

The Nuggets host the Washington Wizards (14-51) next before embarking on a four-game road trip, while the Lakers return home to face the Phoenix Suns (30-36).
