MVP frontrunner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder reached the 60-win mark for just the fifth time in franchise history, and the first since the 2012-23 season.

With the thunder rumbling, the wins kept piling for Oklahoma City.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded a league-leading 45th 30-point game with 32 markers, spearheading yet another OKC road triumph over the Sacramento Kings, 121-105, Wednesday, March 26.

The victory also extended SGA’s 20-point scoring streak to 65 games as the Thunder reached the 60-win plateau for the first time since the Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook-led 2012-13 OKC squad... while also chalking up a seventh successive dub.

Before relocating to Oklahoma City in 2008, the then-Seattle Supersonics recorded two 60-win seasons in 1993-94 (63 wins) and 1995-96 (64 wins).

Chet Holmgren added a solid 18-point, 10-rebound double-double as OKC rolled to a franchise record-extending 11th straight road dub.

Meanwhile, Keegan Murray scored 19 of his 28 points in the second half on top of nine threes, but Sacramento fell short of a comeback despite splashing 23 treys overall.

The Thunder return home to host the Memphis Grizzlies (44-28) while the Kings take on the Portland Trail Blazers (32-40) in their next outing.
