Phoenix won three straight games for the first time since late January, as the Suns handed the Cleveland Cavaliers--who are playing in their third game in the last four days--their first four-game losing skid of the season.

Phoenix’s last-gasp push for the final West Play-in spot is still on the right track.

Kevin Durant erupted for 29 of his 42 points in the second half as the Suns stayed composed amidst a late Cleveland rally to foil the Cavaliers, 123-112, Saturday, March 22.

Phoenix saw their once 21-point lead cut down to seven at 113-106, after a pair of Donovan Mitchell free throws with under two minutes left in regulation.

But the Suns held ground en route to a third straight win, as Devin Booker also recorded a 17-point, 10-assist double-double. Despite both holding a 34-37 win-loss records, the Suns are ahead of the Dallas Mavericks for the West’s 10th spot with a 3-1 head-to-head season series advantage.

Meanwhile, Darius Garland churned in 18 markers to pace Cleveland, who now lost fourth straight for the first time this season after winning 16 consecutive games.

The Suns aim for a fourth straight win with the visiting Milwaukee Bucks (39-30) coming up next while the Cavaliers travel to Utah to face the also-ran Jazz (16-54).
