Stephen Curry's return came at a perfect time amidst a critical Golden State Warriors stretch.

Curry returned from a two-game absence to score 23 points, pacing the Warriors 111-95 road rampage of the New Orleans Pelicans, Saturday, March 29.

The 37-year-old also tallied six assists and five threes as Golden State pulled away in the fourth quarter to end a two-game skid.

Jimmy Butler produced a double-double outing of 18 markers and 10 rebounds while Jonathan Kuminga added 16 points off the bench.

It was a much-needed victory for the Warriors, who are in a three-way race with the LA Clippers (42-31) and the Minnesota Timberwolves (42-32) for the West no. 6 spot.

All three teams secured victories today against respective foes with only half-game separating the trio in the team standings.

On the other hand, Bruce Brown took the scoring cudgels for the Pelicans with 18 points in their sixth loss in the last eight games.

Golden State continue their road trip in San Antonio to battle the Spurs (31-41) while New Orleans crosses paths with the Charlotte Hornets next (18-54).
