Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors delivered the early knockout blow and never looked back.

Curry set the tone early that sparked a commanding 133-95 Warriors bounce back against the Kevin Durant-less Phoenix Suns, Wednesday, April 9.

The 37-year-old scored 13 points in the first nine minutes of the game, eventually finishing with 25 markers, nine rebounds, and six dimes in just 26 minutes of play.

Brandin Podziemski backstopped Curry with 22 as the Warriors (47-32) climbed back to fifth place in the West just behind the no. 4 Denver Nuggets.

Golden State also hold the tiebreaker over the sixth-ranked Memphis Grizzlies to stay in hunt for a guaranteed playoff berth.

Meanwhile, Devin Booker posted 21 points for the Suns (35-44) in a seventh-straight loss that also paved way for the Sacramento Kings' entry into the play-in tournament.

Durant missed his fourth straight game and 17th contest overall due to a ankle sprain.

Golden State eyes back-to-back wins in tangling with the San Antonio Spurs (32-46) while Phoenix aims to end their slide when they host the NBA-best OKC Thunder (65-14).
