When the game was on the line, the Sacramento Kings knew where the ball would end up with: DeMar DeRozan.

DeRozan took matters into his own hands, scoring 14 of his 31 points in the fourth of a thrilling 132-127 Kings win against the Rockets that ended Houston’s five-game winning streak.

Malik Monk added 28 markers with his own big shots, while Domantas Sabonis racked up his 18th straight double-double after finishing with 20 points and 14 rebounds despite fouling out.

The bounce-back win padded Sacramento’s record to 21-20, still good for the Play-In territory at the ninth spot.

Jalen Green led the way for the Rockets with a team-high 28 points but missed the potential game-tying triple. Houston (27-13) remained in second place in the West despite the loss

Houston caps off their three-game road trip when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers (13-26) while Sacramento hosts the Washington Wizards (6-33).
