With the playoff race heating up, the Minnesota Timberwolves continue to peak at the right time.

Anthony Edwards netted 29 points in his first visit to Denver this season, anchoring a superb Timberwolves defensive masterclass that silenced the Nuggets, 115-95, Thursday, March 13.

Julius Randle logged 25 markers more that led to Minnesota’s first six-game winning run since November 2023.

The Timberwolves' stifling defense limited the Nuggets to their lowest scoring output in three months, while improving to 38-29 in the process.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic topscored the Nuggets with 34 points in a losing effort while Russell Westbrook chipped in 19 markers. With the loss, Denver dropped to 42-24.

Up next for the Timberwolves are the Orlando Magic (30-36) while the Nuggets host Luka Doncic and the LA Lakers (40-23).
