Another month, another Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 50-piece.

SGA dropped 51 points--his fourth career 50-point outing--in a gritty 137-128 OKC Thunder home dub over the Houston Rockets, Tuesday, March 4.

After a tight opening half, the West no. 1 squad jumped to a rousing 21-7 start in the third frame before staving off a gutsy Rockets squad and chalked up a fourth straight win.

Jalen Williams added had a solid 24-point outing as OKC improved to a West-best 50-11 win-loss record, 11.5 games ahead of the second-running Los Angeles Lakers (38-21).

Meanwhile, Reed Sheppard posted a career-high 25 markers for the Rockets, who played without Alperen Sengun (lower back), Amen Thompson (right shoulder), Dillon Brooks (right knee), Tari Eason (left lower leg), and Steven Adams (left ankle). Houston slipped 37-24 with yet another loss.

Up next for the Thunder are the Memphis Grizzlies (38-22) while the Rockets travel to Indianapolis to challenge the Pacers (34-25).
