Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Bucks pull away to overcome Nikola Jokic triple-double, Nuggets

Giannis Antetokounmpo led a balanced Milwaukee Bucks with a monster double-double outing for a 121-112 win against the Nikola Jokic-led Denver Nuggets, Friday, February 28.

Antetokounmpo finished with strong numbers of 28 points and a season-high 19 rebounds for his 40th double-double, on top of seven assists. 

His personal 4-0 run gave Bucks some breathing room at 115-106 after the Nuggets cut a once 12-point lead in the fourth on their way to their fifth victory in the last six games.

Meanwhile, Jokic finished with 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists for a league-leading 27th triple-double. But the Nuggets lost back-to-back games for the first time in a month. 

Up next for the Nuggets are the red-hot Detroit Pistons (33-36) while the Bucks travel to Dallas to face the Mavericks (31-28).
