No Karl-Anthony Towns in the game, but Jalen Brunson came to the rescue for the New York Knicks.

Brunson took charge with 38 markers, helping the Knicks recover from a 13-point deficit to fend off the Philadelphia 76ers in overtime, 125-119, Thursday, January 16.

Mikal Bridges added 23 points while Josh Hart tallied his fifth triple-double of the season finishing with 10 markers, 17 boards, and 12 dimes.

Tyrese Maxey hit the game-tying lay-up with three seconds left before a missed OG Anunoby jumper sent the game in overtime. New York dominated the extra session en route to improving to 26-16.

Paul George and Maxey combined for 59 points in a losing effort for Sixers, who slid to 15-24 in the loss.

Up next for New York are the Minnesota Timberwolves (21-18) while Philadelphia visits the Pacers (22-19) in Indiana.
