Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets lifted off to yet another clutch mastery over the Memphis Grizzlies. 

Green tied his career-high with 42 points as the Rockets overcame a 13-point deficit to frustrate the Memphis Grizzlies, 120-118, on Tuesday, January 14. 

Trailing 116-115 in the final minute, the high-flying guard scored a clutch drive to give the lead back to Memphis at 117-116 with 33. 1 second left. 

It was Green’s ninth career 40-point game as Houston rolled to fourth straight win and improved to 26-12. 

Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 29 points in a disappointing loss as Memphis dropped to 25-15 with the loss.

The Grizzlies take on the Spurs (18-19) in San Antonio twice next, while the Rockets embark on a three-game road trip starting in Denver against the Nuggets (23-15).
