When needed the most, Jalen Brunson stepped up for the New York Knicks big-time.

Brunson torched the Houston Rockets with a stellar 42-point, 10-assist game in a gutsy 124-118 Knicks comeback for a strong bounce-back victory, Tuesday, February 4.

The All-Star took charge in the final frame, scoring 17 points in the final frame where his 5-0 personal run gave New York a pivotal 118-114 lead with a minute left to play.

Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in 22 markers each for the Knicks, who erased an 11-point lead entering the fourth after scoring 46 points in the last quarter.

On the other hand, Amen Thompson notched his third-career triple double thanks to a 25-11-11 statline. Jalen Green added 21 points in a game where the Rockets missed Alperen Sengun (calf) and Fred VanVleet (ankle).

The Knicks travel to Toronto to face the Raptors (16-33) while the Rockets continue their road trip in Brooklyn battling the Nets (16-33).
